ZWAKALA MZANSI AND CELEBRATEHERITAGE – TASTIC HERITAGEFESTIVAL

South African rice brand Tastic announced in September that Mzansi’s music icon Thandiswa Mazwai will be spreading the spirit of true generosity on the massive Tastic stage alongside Boom Shaka, Zoë Modiga, the incredible Dr. Rebecca Malope, Black Motion, Thebe, The Soil, Trompies, Prince Kaybee, Ihhashi Elimhlophe, PJ Powers, and many more as they headline the first-ever Tastic Heritage Festival to be held on Saturday, 5 November 2022 at Imperial Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.

The Tastic brand has been campaigning for an end to education inadequacy by uniting true generosity voices, amplified by Mzansi’s icons, encouraging South Africans to take action in the mission to provide quality education to as many South African students as possible. This year, Tastic will unite artists and nationals to celebrate their heritage while demonstrating their true generosity by raising funds to end education inadequacy.

“The realities of today’s economic climate make it difficult for the underprivileged to ensure they gain access to funds that will allow their young ones an opportunity to quality education. Tiger brands is committed to making an impactful difference in tackling this socio-economic challenge by contributing towards the development and education of our future leaders. We are proud of the great work that Tastic has done to mobilise South African artists, leaders, and nationals to work together in celebrating our heritage and raising funds for our bursary program,” says Thembi Sehloho, Marketing Director of Pasta and Rice

“This significant event not only honours the legacy of our great heritage and creativity but offers an important and powerful platform for us to make a positive and tangible contribution to our youth by raising educational funds. I am truly honoured to be this year’s anchor for the Tastic heritage campaign and hope it truly inspires creatives, the youth, and our leaders to take action in South African efforts to achieve tomorrow that is sustainable for every South African to live in.” says Thandiswa Mazwai.

The Tastic Heritage Festival 2022, which calls to raise funds to support South African students in their educational journey – will take place on 05 November 2022 at Johannesburg’s Wanderers Stadium.
